Steamtown cosmetically restored their Big Boy in 2021. I captured it separated from its tender shortly after painting was complete.

The Big Boy has departed its display location in downtown St. Louis and is headed west for its next stops in Pacific, MO and Jefferson City, MO.

#4014 and the #844 are returning to Cheyenne after a highly publicized trip to Salt Lake City, heralding the Big Boy's return.
